So far I'm impressed. I use this on my liveaboard boat to move the air around in the cabin. I've got it as close to a central location as possible blowing upwards. It effectively pulls the cool air from the lower staterooms and blows it up across the hot upper galley windshield. My ACs don't run nearly as much as they used too. Saving me money on electricity and making the upper galley a nice place to hang out in even on 100 degree days.
It does gather dust on the grill and fan blades relatively quick. But, the designers though about this and made concession for it. Located on the back is a stand alone Philips head screw. I'm not talking about the perimeter screws that hold the body together. This is a smaller screw located in a channel. If you remove this screw the front grill will pop off for cleaning. Fantastic design.
